Artist Date: Script Reading
Words cannot describe how much I did not want to take my Artist Date this week. With rehearsals and Content and Company and Spanish and Personal Well Being and Housing the mere prospect of taking time off created more stress.
That said, I am a woman who commits. This is an assignment, which means it will be done. There was some issue in that I didn't know what to do, but I just sort of decided to sit in the chairs outside my dorm and read some of the scripts that were emailed to me.
(My friends are so talented and great!!)
They were cool (and noticeably different stylistically, which made it cooler) and I had a lot of thoughts about them, but it did exactly nothing to calm my nerves. Everything I could have been doing instead manifested about my head like a cloud.
My workload is slowing down though, thankfully. But I fear with tech week coming up this is only the calm before the storm. Still, I will take my respite where I can.
