Artist Way: Week Nine
Three More Weeks from this book! This chapter didn't really give me a lot to work with-only four exercises, and I wasn't really keen on doing any of them. There was one though, which, while not exactly fun or relaxing, was useful: "List your creative goals for the year. List your creative goals for the month."
That's something I need to do. I've been so focused on other things I haven't really done a lot of planning and certainly not commiting. Maybe having something permanent will help me better motivate myself.
Let's start for the week:
For the month:
Looking at this... I does kind of make me less stressed. Not by a lot but... a little. And that's something.
That's something I need to do. I've been so focused on other things I haven't really done a lot of planning and certainly not commiting. Maybe having something permanent will help me better motivate myself.
Let's start for the week:
- The most obvious: finish my script for Seminar. It's really coming along nicely, if I do say so myself. I should have all the story done by Tomorrow at the latest, the real chore is typing it up and putting it in Final Draft. Once that's done, a huge weight will be lifted and I'll be free to:
- Finish memorizing my part in Grimm's Brothers Spectaculathon
- Finish and color my Daughters of The Rainbow Poster.
For the month:
- As mentioned, the three above are the most pressing and will certain pop up again throughout the month for doctoring and presentation. That will really take up most of my time. (Here's to acting in five short plays!)
- That scene for Actor's Instrument
For next month (and really the summer):
- Get the hang of my drawing pad before next semester.
- Get started on some of the fanfics and prose poems that have been buzzing in my head for a while. It's time I stop having ideas and start acting on them.
- While I'm at it - I have a lot of novel ideas I haven't written a word for. Get at least a few pages for each one.
For the Whole Year:
This is a little iffy because I don't know what Digital Applications, Computer Design I, and the Makeup & Costume Class I'm taking have in store for me. I'm also thinking of applying for Student Media Editor, which will, in all likelihood, change my schedule. A lot of personal projects will have to either be integrated into the curriculum or put on the backburner. I do think my portfolio is going to grow considerably though.
What I can expect though:
- Develop a short film
- Add tp my design collection
Looking at this... I does kind of make me less stressed. Not by a lot but... a little. And that's something.
