The Artist Way: Week Four

Chapter Four: Recovering a Sense of Integrity
This chapter had some of my favorite exercises thus far (I've bookmarked donating an outfit, rearranging your house, and planning an artist vacation for later)- but Task Number One is the easiest to convert into a blog post, so guess which one I'm doing.

It's pretty simple: "Describe your ideal environment. One paragraph. One image...What's your favorite season? Place it near your working area."

It's surprisingly challenging for me. I'm a very neutral and adaptable a good deal of the time, especially when things pertain to me. "When do you want to meet up?" "I'm good whenever." "What do you want to do?" "I don't know, you pick." "Where do you what to go?" "I'm cool with anywhere."
I can see how I can get frustrating.
The prompt says to place it near my work, but I don't have a job yet, nor do I have a concrete vision of my vocation thus far, so I'm not sure I can consider that yet.
"Describe your Ideal Environment." I don't know man. Somewhere quiet. Cozy. Organized and dependable.  In a town with a lot to do but isn't suffocating. My mind keeps drawing back to San Antonio whenever I think about it. Maybe that's where my heart is. Maybe I just haven't explored enough of the world to find somewhere else.

San Antonio TX "The beauty and majesty of Big Sky country and the friendliness of the folks who live here makes it a must-do trip." The famed River Walk remains one of its biggest draws, especially “once you discover the Rio Taxi” hop-on, hop-off service and “the quiet upper end.” Culture buffs can’t get enough of the annual Fiesta, an 11-day heritage celebration that’s “a treat for locals and tourists,” while aesthetes flock to the McNay Art Museum for “one of the best collections.”Related image

As for my favorite season? I would say those two weeks of spring we get before summer, where the flowers are out and it's warm but not stifling.
